"Prenderò quel brunettino" from Cosí fan tutte
Enjoy this silly video we made for Galentine's day, a day to celebrate all the gals and pals that make life a little sweeter. The title of the aria translates to "I like the brunette", and in the aria 2 sisters discuss how they will have fun cheating on their fiancés (which of course we would never do!) Like many operas, Cosí fan tutte fails the Bechdel test miserably but we absolutely adore the music, and it was both of our first opera pit experiences!
